Jeff has taught and coached at Ridgefield High School for nine years. He has been coaching Girls Varsity Volleyball and Boys Varsity Baseball and will be expanding his responsibilities to include much of our athletic programming. Jeff’s son Josh will be a Wooster 12th grader and daughter Lulu will be a Wooster 8th grader.

Brenda Chapman - Pre-K Teacher

B.S., Elementary Education - Southern Connecticut State University

M.S., Elementary Curriculum - Western Connecticut State University

Brenda joins the Wooster community after teaching Pre-K for the last four years in Ridgefield at The Growing Tree and then CCK. She has over 20 years of experience in elementary education.

Antoinette Fornshell - Director of Lower School

B.S., Elementary Education - University of Rhode Island

M.S., Literacy and Reading - Western Connecticut State University

6th Year Professional Diploma, Administration and Supervision - University of Connecticut

Antoinette comes to Wooster, with over 30 years of education experience, including time as a lower school teacher and director, most recently serving as the Pre-K-12 Humanities Program Coordinator for Greenwich Public Schools for the past 4 years. Antoinette is also married to a Wooster School graduate and has longstanding ties to our school.

Theresa comes to Wooster with over 20 years of experience working and chairing events at local schools. She will also be hosting one of Wooster’s international students, Thomson who is entering 9th grade, for a second consecutive year.

Lisa Lucente - Registrar

B.A., Communication, Journalism - Central Connecticut State University ard University

Lisa joins the Wooster community after her time as the Admissions Manager/Registrar at Friends Seminary, NY for the last 3 years. As Registrar she will manage our new Blackbaud onCampus student learning management system in support of the Director of Curriculum and Technology.

Shannon Magni ‘11 - Spanish Teacher

B.A., Spanish Language and Communication & Latino and Latin American Studies - University of Connecticut

Shannon returns to Wooster after recently teaching bilingually in Spain for the past two years. She will be teaching all levels of Spanish at the Upper School. Shannon joins her father Bob and brother Chris as members of the Wooster faculty.

John joins the Wooster community after most recently being Head of the Beacon School in Stamford, CT. He also has experience as a Middle School Assistant Head at the Master’s School in Dobbs Ferry and 15 years as a teacher of students with learning differences at The Windward School.

Spencer Phillips - History and Humanities Teacher

Spencer comes to us after serving as an English and Humanities teacher for two years in Arizona. Spencer will be teaching Humanities and US History in the Upper School.

Megan Rajbanshi ‘97 - Director of the Center for Social Impact

M.A., Expressive Therapies & Mental Health Counseling - Lesley University

M.S.S.W., Social Work - Columbia University

Megan formally joins the Wooster community after serving as a volunteer with the Center for Social Impact to help develop and support the Wooster - Rashmi partnership for the past two years. Megan’s daughter Sabine will be a Wooster kindergartner and son Sebastian will be a Wooster Pre-K student.

Samantha Steele - English Teacher

B.A., Music Education - Manhattanville College

M.A., Music Education - New York University

Literacy Certificate - Manhattanville College

Samantha has 6 years experience as a Middle School English teacher at Beacon School in Stamford, CT, and 10 years as a Lower School teacher. She will be teaching 8th Grade English and working as a literacy support specialist in the Middle and Upper Schools.

Beth Sullivan - Math Teacher

B.A., Physics - Colorado College

Beth began her teaching career as a science instructor in the Peace Corps. Since then she has been a tutor and mom to Owen, a Wooster kindergartner, and Ilana a Wooster Pre-K student. Beth joins her husband Brian as a member of the Wooster faculty.
