Wooster School held its Commencement Exercises on Friday, June 10 to celebrate the graduation of the Class of 2022. These seniors join more than 3,000 alumni who have graduated since Wooster's founding in 1926.
On May 31st, the 7th and 8th graders held a public ceremony and installation of a Witness Stone at Long Ridge United Methodist Church (Danbury, CT) in memory of the life of Nimrod Benedict, a Danbury resident who was sold by Joseph Taylor in 1765 to Noble Benedict at the age of four.
Wooster School participated in the 19th Annual HALO Awards, which is like the Tony Awards for Connecticut High School theatre. Wooster School was recognized with 22 nominations. This year the awards are returning live to the Palace Theatre in Waterbury, CT on May 31, June 1, and June 2!
Varsity Boys Tennis, Varsity Ultimate Frisbee, and Varsity Track have all been selected to compete in tournaments on Saturday, May 21. Let's go Generals!
We are excited to have live performances with patrons in attendance for the upcoming production of Legally Blonde, Jr. Performances are Friday, June 3 at 7:30 pm, and Saturday, June 4 at 2:00 pm and 7:30 pm in the Black Box Theatre. Additionally, we will have a Wooster student, faculty, and staff only preview performance on Thursday, June 2 at 5:00 pm.
