Since the last update, the Boys Varsity Basketball team has played two games. In the first one, we lost 62-48 against Hopkins School. We started off poorly, struggling to overcome the full-court press at the beginning. We started coming back with tough defense, but the fact that we committed so many turnovers made it impossible to complete the comeback.

In the second game, we won 58-57 against South Kent School. We started off very strong in the first half, with an absolute barrage of threes to start the game. We went into the half up by double digits, but in the second half, our shooting went cold and they came back. It came down to the final possession in which we lost the ball because we weren't allowed to call a time out, and making a great defensive stop to come out with the one point win.

In the next week, we have three games. The first is today at home at 4:30 against Forman School. This is the first Pack the Gym of the season, so it would be great if everyone could come out to support us. The second game is Saturday away at 12:30 against Chase Collegiate. This is the league team that we had the most trouble with last year, so hopefully we can get a win in their always challenging atmosphere. Our third game is Wednesday away at 5:15 against King School. We have already lost to them this year, but armed with more knowledge about them, we should hopefully be able to beat them in Round 2.
