WiNK
In my five years of being a student at Wooster, there isn't a lot I can complain about. Nice campus, great community, interesting and challenging classes, and fun teachers and faculty. But despite all these great things there is a huge issue: the lack of chocolate milk at lunch. Now this might not seem like a huge issue but I believe that it could greatly impact the student body.
I first learned that chocolate milk used to be served at lunch during my first year at Wooster. I know that chocolate milk hasn't been served for over six years now but I believe it's better late than never to take action. This is the beginning of my movement to bring back chocolate milk to lunch. I believe the reintroduction of chocolate milk is a win/win. Not only is it a great drink for athletes but just a great drink for everyone. Chocolate milk is a great recovery drink that doesn't just taste great, but athletes that drink low fat chocolate milk show great strength gains than those who drink typical sports drink. It's a great drink for everyone, especially athletes. Chocolate milk would be great for Wooster because most students are athletes. Wooster is a school that pushes you to improve yourself by giving you the opportunities and resources necessary. Chocolate milk can help a ton of athletes improve themselves in the sports they love (see video).
This is only the start of my movement, I will be doing more in depth articles for WiNK in the weeks to come. I hope you might learn something from my articles and, more importantly, get chocolate milk back.
