Coming into March Madness, we all knew COVID-19 was going to play a role. In the beginning of the bracket, Oregon was set to play VCU when the game was called a "no contest" because of COVID protocols on VCU's side. Because of this Oregon would move on without a game being played. At the games, there have only been family members of players and coaches present and it has seemed to be pretty effective as there have not been any more COVID-19 outbreaks.

Just like any other tournament in the past, March Madness this year has been absolutely incredible. The unexpected environment and experience has made it even more unique and exceptional for the teams playing and people watching this year. Even though the games looked very different from any past year, there was no entertainment aspect lacking. The tournament has given us several fantastic games that we will be able to look back on as the NCAA tournament that occurred during the COVID-19 pandemic. March Madness started with one of the biggest and most unexpected upsets of the entire tournament, the 15th seed Oral Roberts University defeating the 2nd seed Ohio State University in the first round. Oral Roberts surprisingly made an impressive run to the Sweet Sixteen but ended up losing to Arkansas in a close finish, 72-70!

Two more big games in the first round were No. 13 seed Ohio University's loss to No. 4 seed and Abilene Christian University's stunning upset against the No. 3 seed, University of Texas. A few stand out games in the second round were No. 1 seed University of Virginia's loss to No. 8 seed Loyola University Chicago, Syracuse's big win over West Virginia, and Oregon State's win in their grimey battle with Oklahoma State.

During the Sweet Sixteen, the No. 6 USC vs No. 3 Kansas faced off and USC had a blowout victory, 85-51 and 7th seed Oregon Ducks surprised the 2nd seed Iowa Hawkeyes, 68-82. On Monday, the Elite Eight delivered a back-and-forth battle between No. 12 Oregon State and No. 2 Houston and a last possession finish with No. 11 UCLA and No. 1 Michigan on Tuesday. Houston ended up defeating Oregon State, 61-67 and UCLA stunned Michigan, 51-49. Make sure to tune in for the upcoming Final Four games on Saturday which are the University of Houston against Baylor University at 5:14 P.M. and the University of California vs Gonzaga University at 8:34 P.M.

Miller's prediction to win March Madness - Gonzaga

Gonzaga has never won an NCAA tournament. This year I believe it will be different mainly because they're 30-0 but also because I believe they're sick of losing. I had this conversation with some friends and we all agreed that Gonzaga has always been a top contender to win March Madness but have never actually accomplished that goal. That's insane to think about but they're definitely my pick to win this year.

Peter's prediction to win March Madness - Gonzaga

Gonzaga has been breaking hearts all year, and I do not think they're done. This team is quite literally unstoppable at this point with their sweet cruise through each round so far. I find it hard to believe Gonzaga's Men's Team has yet to bring a national title home, but this year it seems inevitable. It would be very disappointing if they didn't cap off their impressive undefeated season with a championship. I believe they've got the talent, guts, and execution to finish strong.
