NFL Playoff Predictions: How Did We Do?

by: Sam Goldblat & Trip Dulecki

Trip:

My round one predictions could've been better as I went 6/8. I predicted that the Cowboys were going to beat the 49ers and actually win the next round too which would put them in the NFC Championship. Unfortunately, they were upset by the Niners. For my other wrong prediction, I said that the Cardinals were going to beat the Rams. You might think I lost this prediction, but you're wrong. I said that the Cardinals would beat the Rams because I knew it would jinx the game and the Rams would actually win.

Trip's Updated Round Two Predictions:

Titans vs. Bengals:

In my old prediction I said that the Bengals would beat the Titans, and I still think that, but since my buddy Sam has the Bengals going to the Super Bowl, I'll take the Titans.

Chiefs vs. Bills:

This is going to be a wild matchup. Definitely can go either way. I think the Chiefs will win in a close one though.

Buccaneers vs. Rams:

The last time these two teams met, the Rams defeated the Bucs 34-24. This time I think that the Bucs will win.

Packers vs 49ers:

I think this will be the only matchup of the week that won't be a close game. The Packers should easily take this one and advance to the NFC Championship.

Sam:

My round one predictions were perfect, but I messed up the NFC matchups in the second round. In these new predictions I still have the same teams advancing.

Sam's Updated Round Two Predictions:

49ers vs Packers

In their Week 3 match up in San Francisco, the Packers were able to pull off the close victory. Because of how dominant Aaron Rodgers and the Packers have been as of late I just don't see any way this game is close.

Rams vs Buccaneers

I actually could see the Rams winning this game if Stafford has one of his better performances, especially with Chris Godwin out for the Bucs. Despite losing by 10 in LA in Week 3, Tom Brady is just different in the playoffs and I see him getting the win. This means I'm picking the Bucs.
