Alternate text

A Midsummer Night's Podcast is Shakespeare's play adapted as a radio show.

Recorded live on Wooster's campus and produced using audio technology, A Midsummer Night's Podcast is being released in five episodes, from 30-45 minutes in length, now through December 18. The podcast is available through the Wooster website. Audience members will be able to re-listen to any of the previous episodes and 'catch up' on anything they've missed.

"Lord, what fools these mortals be!" Shakespeare's classic, enchanting and hilarious comedy comes to life through voice acting and sound effects. Athenian nobles, an impending wedding, heartsick young lovers, amateur actors, and fairies all are transformed during one crazy night in the woods. The Wooster Theatre production features 8 student actors (and one special faculty cameo), each playing multiple roles. Some of Shakespeare's most enchantingly beautiful poetry and laugh-out-loud slapstick comedy are adapted into a production for a modern audience.
