Even though we are early in the NBA season and the MVP title is still far from decided, I feel there are a ton of players that have been playing exceptionally well and need to be recognized as early MVP frontrunners. Injuries and other events could definitely change my mind but for right now these are my top 3 early predictions for MVP.

1. Kevin Durant- Since coming back from a ruptured achilles that occurred last year, Kevin Durant has been playing like he never left. He's averaging over 30 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists just proving he's one of the best scorers in the league and should be considered a front runner for MVP later on in the season if he continues to dominate the league.

2. Nikola Jokic- If you've been following basketball, you know that Nikola Jokic has just been balling out. He's averaging a triple double (25,11,10) and is showing he is one of the most versatile big men in the league.

3. Kawhi Leonard- Along with Paul George, Kawhi is having a very strong start to the season. He's averaging 25 points and 2 steals and has led the Clippers to the #1 spot in the Western Conference. He is also shooting 50% from the field and 45% from 3 showing he is very consistent. I think by the end of the season, he will be in the discussion for MVP.
