This school year has been different for everyone, as we are all getting used to all the new safety precautions to keep us safe and on the campus. But it's especially complicated for our new students who are meeting people through masks and while socially distanced. Wooster receives a lot of new students every year but we don't usually get a lot of new juniors. This year we received nine new juniors, I wanted to introduce a few of the new juniors I was able to interview this week:
Bella Brown
What school did you come from?
The school I went to last year was a private school called Springdale Preparatory School and it is located in New Windsor MD.
How has the transition from your old school to Wooster?
The transition from Springdale to Wooster was smooth and different, since coming from a disciplined school that was very stern to Wooster, where students have far more independence and are treated like young adults, I feel that Wooster is physically preparing you for college.
How do you like your classes?
I enjoy the classes that I take in Wooster because I feel as if I can always go in depth with a topic that interests me.
Favorite hobbies?
My ideal hobby / thing to do is to play lacrosse, ride a bike, and take pictures!
Favorite animal?
My favorite animal would be a Kangaroo, because they look so comfortable.
When's your birthday?
My birthday is the 19th of November.

Smooth, although Wooster's campus is bigger than my old school

They are great, I like all my classes.
