Album of the Week: Amerikkan Bada$$

This week's album is another Joey Bada$$ album titled ALL AMERIKKKAN BADA$$. The album is his 4th studio album and is widely appreciated for its deep understanding of African American struggles in America. The album was released in April of 2017 during the Trump Administration. Joey has vocalized his dissatisfaction with Donald Trump's presidency numerous times so it comes as no surprise that he disses Trump on the album.
The whole album is extremely political which is why it is unsurprising that the majority of the songs feature some type of statement. For example during the intro of Track 2 titled "Temptation" a little girl is featured speaking how black people are treated differently. It's worth mentioning that the album spells america with three K's for a reason. The title is meant to bring awareness to the dwindling but still very prevalent hate group known as the KKK.
In my personal opinion this is tied for Joey's 2nd or 3rd best album. It alternates whenever I listen to it. I think that this album is very deep and gives a very good understanding of political injustices in America.
