Science - Middle School

The Middle School science program seeks to strengthen students’ ability to comprehend and interpret scientific writings through readings in the text and supplementary materials. Our hands-on approach to learning science helps develop an appreciation of and facility with the scientific method through frequent experimentation and direct observation. Our outdoor campus offers a variety of habitats for direct study of all Middle School science topics and every effort is made to utilize this excellent teaching resource. Finally, students gain practice in effective communication through oral and written reports and by the construction of graphs, charts, and tables.
