Posted 05/29/2019 12:00PM

Earlier this month, students in grades K - 5 met Matt Van Brink, composer of Animal Estates Home Buyers' Tour, a musical for young audiences. Matt shared his songs and spoke about the composing process, explaining to the kids that he began by writing lyrics for other people's music before composing his own. He also showed the kids how music can fit with specific emotions.

Wooster students will be performing Animal Estates Home Buyers' Tour as part of their Spring Concert and sang several songs for Matt. The afternoon wrapped up as he answered questions that the children had about his music and being a composer.
