Wooster senior, Charlie Aspillaga, has been named a 2021-2022 scholar in the College Board National Hispanic Recognition program for excellence in academic achievement.

"All of us at Wooster School are so proud of Charlie for being selected for the College Board National Hispanic Recognition Program," remarked Adam Kendis, Director of College Guidance. "Charlie is one of the kindest and most humble students at Wooster. Rarely seen without a book in his hand, Charlie brings a thoughtful, analytical and passionate force to the classroom and the Wooster community in general. Charlie's passion for learning is infectious and he inspires all of us, the faculty and his peers alike, to want to learn more. Congratulations on this deserved recognition, Charlie!"

Students who take the PSAT/NMSQT, PSAT 10, or AP Exams and are African American or Black, Hispanic American or Latinx, Indigenous, or attend school in a rural area or small town, may be invited to apply for academic recognition as part of the College Board National Recognition Programs.
