Wooster School senior Emily Clee has signed her National Letter of Intent to attend Auburn University and compete on the women's equestrian team in front of friends, teachers, and family.

Varsity Boys Soccer and Varsity Girls Soccer have been selected to compete in the prestigious New England Preparatory School Athletic Council Tournament. Boys Soccer is the #2 seed and will host #7 seed Rocky Hill Country Day School. Girls Soccer is the #5 seed and will travel to play #4 seed St. Andrew's School.

The Varsity Cross Country Boys Team and Varsity Cross Country Girls Team are set to compete at the 2022 New England Prep School Track Association (NEPSTA) Division IV Cross Country Championships. The race will take place on Saturday, November 12 at Marvelwood School in Kent, CT. Race times are set for: varsity boys at 1:30 pm; varsity girls at 2:15 pm; junior varsity boys and junior varsity girls at 3:00 pm.

It is post season time for the fall sports. Many teams are about to start their Housatonic Valley Athletic League (HVAL) Tournaments this week. Good luck Generals!

Based on the iconic 1985 Paramount movie which was inspired by the classic Hasbro board game, Clue is a hilarious farce-meets-murder mystery. Performances for all audiences are Friday, November 11 at 7:30 pm, Saturday, November 12 at 2:00 pm and 7:30 pm, Thursday, November 17 at 5:00 pm, Friday, November 18 at 7:30 pm, and Saturday, November 19 at 2:00 pm and 7:30 pm, in the Black Box Theatre.

On Friday, September 9, 2022, the official start to Wooster School's 97th year began. This special event included remarks from Head of School, Matt Byrnes, a collective recitation of our School Prayer and Honor Code, and the recognition of our Crayons to Commencement Seniors.

Wooster School held its Commencement Exercises on Friday, June 10 to celebrate the graduation of the Class of 2022. These seniors join more than 3,000 alumni who have graduated since Wooster's founding in 1926.

On May 31st, the 7th and 8th graders held a public ceremony and installation of a Witness Stone at Long Ridge United Methodist Church (Danbury, CT) in memory of the life of Nimrod Benedict, a Danbury resident who was sold by Joseph Taylor in 1765 to Noble Benedict at the age of four.

Wooster School participated in the 19th Annual HALO Awards, which is like the Tony Awards for Connecticut High School theatre. Wooster School was recognized with 22 nominations. This year the awards are returning live to the Palace Theatre in Waterbury, CT on May 31, June 1, and June 2!

We are excited to have live performances with patrons in attendance for the upcoming production of Legally Blonde, Jr. Performances are Friday, June 3 at 7:30 pm, and Saturday, June 4 at 2:00 pm and 7:30 pm in the Black Box Theatre. Additionally, we will have a Wooster student, faculty, and staff only preview performance on Thursday, June 2 at 5:00 pm.

Wooster senior, Charlie Aspillaga, has been named a 2021-2022 scholar in the College Board National Hispanic Recognition program for excellence in academic achievement.

Head of School, Matthew Byrnes, recently announced that Sasha Peck has been named a Commended Student in the 2022 National Merit Scholarship Program. A Letter of Commendation from National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC), which conducts the program, was presented to this scholastically talented senior.
