Today both Wooster XC teams raced at Forman in the HVAL Invitational Race. Both teams came in second by small margins (6 and 3 points). On the boys side Wooster was led by Junior Jack Caiola who came in 4th with a ridiculously fast time of 17:56, Luca Segalla followed in 6 th place with a time of 18:25. The top 5 scoring boys (Jack, Luca, Braden Langis, Vlad Scheindeman, Chris Strilowich) all ran incredible races. Wooster is in the hunt to defend their title.

The girls race was absolutely incredible. 7th grader Amelia Vail won even after getting lost, catching back up to lead girls and then running down the first place on the final stretch. Senior Julia Bauer and 8th grader Cara Costigan followed in 3rd and 5th places. The team was rounded out by the inspirational finish of Lauren Guzardi who while injured was able to complete the course to ensure Wooster got a team score.
