Grade 4

Fourth Grade students visit the library each week for lesson on information literacy, book checkout and a read aloud. Information Literacy concepts include the the basics of research in traditional sources such as dictionaries, encyclopedias and almanacs, primarily in electronic format. Choosing good keywords and selecting appropriate sources are reinforced with an emphasis on structuring research for success. Fourth graders come to the library for Library Class on Thursdays.
